What materials do you use for your glass?
All our products are made exclusively from high-quality glass cullet, ensuring that every item is pure, durable, and has excellent optical properties. Using only top-quality raw materials allows us to guarantee products of the highest standards, suitable for both decorative and functional purposes.
At what temperature is the glass produced?
The glassmaking process at Anwa•Glass takes place at high temperatures. Glass is melted at approximately 1470°C, producing a uniform mass ready for shaping. Hand-blown glass is then shaped at a lower temperature of around 1180–1200°C, allowing the glass to achieve the desired form while preserving optical and structural properties. Thanks to precise temperature control, every piece meets the highest quality standards.
What is hand-blown glass?
Hand-blown glass at Anwa•Glass refers to products created using traditional methods by skilled glassmakers, without machinery. Every piece is unique – its shape, thickness, and details may vary slightly, giving it a characteristic, one-of-a-kind appearance.
Why is hand-blown glass special?
Hand-blown glass is special because each product is crafted by experienced glassmakers without machinery. The shaping process, performed at around 1180–1200°C, allows us to give glass a unique shape and character. Every detail – wall thickness, color, or texture – may differ slightly, making each product a unique piece. Hand-blown techniques provide unparalleled aesthetic and artistic value that cannot be replicated in mass production.
