How Anwa•Glass Was Founded

ANWA•GLASS continues a proud family tradition of glassmaking, with roots tracing back to the “Galicjan” Glassworks in Tarnowiec – one of the most renowned glass factories in Poland. It was there that designs were created and sent to clients and galleries around the world, building a legacy of craftsmanship and artistic excellence.

Today, this tradition is carried forward at ANWA•GLASS, where the experience gained from working as a glass technologist is combined with the knowledge passed down through generations of the family. Established in 2019, the company specializes in handcrafted glass, with a strong focus on precision, durability, and aesthetic excellence.

Tradition, Expertise, and a Modern Approach

Although ANWA•GLASS officially started operations in 2019, it is backed by a long-standing history and genuine glassmaking know-how. We combine classic glassblowing techniques with modern design and a flexible, project-oriented approach.

Our glassworks is located in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, between Jasło and Krosno—a region with deep glassmaking roots. We offer production capabilities far beyond those of a standard “artistic studio,” crafting both single, unique pieces and larger series with consistent specifications.

What We Produce / Offer

We specialize in handmade artistic, decorative, and functional glass. At our glassworks, we create a wide range of products, including:

Handmade vases
Handmade friendship balls and seasonal decorations
Handmade reed diffusers
Handmade platters and bowls
Handmade figurines and decorative elements
Handmade glass piggy banks and ornaments
Handmade garden decorations, lamps, and candle glassware
Custom handmade projects and prototypes

Every product is handmade, making each piece truly unique. Hand-forming allows us to control the shape and finish of the glass at every stage of production. We work with both clear and colored glass, offering a variety of shades and effects tailored to each project.

Handmade Decorations & Finishes

We also offer a range of glass finishing services, including:

Engraving
Frosting / Sandblasting
Platinum plating and metallic decorations
Handmade, artistic, and personalized embellishments

These services allow us to customize each product to suit a specific project, brand, or occasion.

Continuing a Family Glassworks Tradition – Quality You Can Trust

What sets ANWA•GLASS apart is a genuine glassmaking tradition passed down through the family. We are not a brand built “from scratch,” but the next chapter in a family legacy that has created glass for clients and galleries around the world.

Today, we combine this rich history with our own approach, modern technological facilities, and expanding production capabilities, offering both craftsmanship and innovation in every piece.
